This summer, 48 international teams will compete in a massive soccer tournament hosted jointly by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Fans will gather across 16 vibrant host cities to celebrate the beautiful game, and Seattle is thrilled to welcome them.

Lumen Field will serve as a spectacular backdrop for six exciting matches, bringing the world right to our doorstep. Drawing fans from every corner of the globe, Seattle will host four group-stage games, including a highly anticipated appearance by the U.S. Men's National Team, as well as two thrilling knockout-stage matches.  With so much action ahead, Seattle anticipates incredible energy and record crowds throughout the event.

Getting to Lumen Field

You want to spend your time enjoying the matches, not worrying about traffic. Fortunately, Mayflower Park Hotel offers effortless access to Lumen Field.

The stadium sits just two miles from downtown Seattle and the hotel. While you can drive there in about 10 minutes, public transportation offers the easiest and most stress-free route. The hotel is just around the corner from the Westlake light rail station, which provides a direct line to the stadium.

Driving to Lumen Field (2 miles)

  • From our front door, head east on Olive Way and take an immediate right onto 5th Ave
  • Go three city blocks and turn right onto Union Street
  • Use the left two lanes to turn left onto 2nd Ave
  • Turn right onto 2nd Ave S
  • Continue straight onto Stadium Place S

Light Rail to Lumen Field

  • Walk east on Olive Way and turn right on 5th Ave
  • Enter the Westlake Station beneath Pine Street, between 5th and 6th Ave
  • Board the Link Light Rail toward Angle Lake
  • Ride 3 stops and exit at Stadium Station
  • From there, you will join a sea of fellow fans taking the short 5-minute walk directly to the stadium gates

    What to Bring

    Lumen Field is a fully cashless venue. Bring a credit card or set up mobile payments on your smartphone for all your food and merchandise purchases. Also, remember that Lumen Field enforces a strict clear bag policy for all events. Ensure your bag meets the stadium's requirements before you head to the stadium.

    What to Wear

    Summer in Seattle is generally sunny and comfortable, with high temperatures typically reaching the mid to upper 70s. Dress for the warm weather, and remember to pack sunglasses, a brimmed hat, and plenty of sunscreen. You will do plenty of walking and standing, so wearing comfortable shoes is an absolute must.

    When to Arrive

    Plan to arrive at Lumen Field at least one hour before kickoff. Giving yourself plenty of time allows you to find your seat without rushing, explore the various stadium vendors, and take in the incredible pre-game atmosphere.
