EXCELLENT Based on 3018 reviews Taylor J2025-09-04Verified One of a kind experience The Mayflower Park Hotel provides an exceptional one of a kind experience. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. We plan to make it a tradition to stay here whenever we visit Seattle. DavidInCambridgeUK2025-08-31Verified A lovely old hotel in the heart of Seattle My wife and I stayed here for three nights after visiting family in North Idaho. My wife wanted to reconnect with an old college friend who lives north of Seattle, and we decided to see a little of the city whilst we were there. The location was ideal, just five minutes walk from the nearest Link light rail station, so it was easy to get around. The hotel itself is a charming and elegant building, both inside and out. It was like stepping back a hundred years, but with all the modern amenities such as wifi included. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was clean and comfortable. We will certainly stay here again if our travels take us back to Seattle. It was a delightful change from the bland and characterless chain hotels that seem to be the norm in most American cities. ScottishTourist012025-08-28Verified Like going back in time to when service really mattered We stayed here for 3 nights and it was a wonderful experience. On arrival the bags were taken from the taxi inside and stored until our room was ready, and again at the end of our stay the bags were stored after check out until we were read6 to leave. Good old fashioned service, a person at reception taking the time to talk to you and ask questions as though you actually matter to the hotel. Rooms are a waste lovely and spacious, exactly what we expected from the website (no trying to fool you with pictures that don’t actually resemble the rooms). We ate in the bar on one evening and in the restaurant on another and both were great and very enjoyable, highly recommend. This hotel is really well situated for getting the monorail into the Space Needle, for walking to Pike Place Markets and the pier area, and easily walkable to the Starbucks Roastary. We are glad we stayed here. At the time we stayed the hotel which had recently changed ownership was going through a change in payment systems and on arrival payment was taken for the room and we had paid as we went in the bar and restaurant however when I went to check out I was asked for payment again and had to get out my card receipt to show I had paid and give some card details so that a note could be passed to billing to match up my payment to the check out bill. ... that wasn’t very good. Hopefully all those teething problems are now solved. Christopher C2025-08-28Verified A comfortable elegance in a great location I was in town primarily for wedding festivities and looked for a hotel that was easy to reach from the airport by light rail, well-positioned in relation to the wedding venues and also centrally located to allow for some wandering in downtime. The Mayflower Park was perfect for those logistical requirements. The hotel has a comfortable elegance about the public spaces as well as the guest rooms. The service at the front desk, from housekeeping and in the lounge was not only efficient, but friendly. All of these things combined for a very enjoyable stay. Mark C2025-08-25Verified Location, location, location. Was able to get two rooms here for the price of one room in some of the "name brand" places. But this hotel has the same quality and feel. The elevators are a little old, and the bar downstairs was a bit slow ... but the location was perfect. A couple minutes from Pike Place. A couple minutes from the train to/from the airport. Walkable to the Space Needle, if you're so inclined. (We walked to the Space Needle and took the monorail back.) Excellent location, good price, solid hotel. Vanessa M2025-08-24Verified Welcoming, and comfortable historical hotel in Seattle Mayflower Park is my first choice when visiting family in Seattle. It’s close to shopping and the train Link. Very welcoming and professional atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable, the history of the building is wonderful to experience. Jennifer C2025-08-22Verified Lovely old hotel Lovely old hotel that retains the early 1920s charm and elegance but with all the “mod cons”. Fantastic location for a very brief (one day, 2 night) visit to Seattle. Front desk staff a wee bit “hit and miss” in terms of friendliness, and if I’m being really picky, I would have killed for a cup of ordinary black tea (not flavoured) but it’s not really a thing, apparently. Otherwise, lovely stay. Would highly recommend if you’re into a little old (ish) world charm -saw a review that criticised the decor as “outdated”!!! Hahaha - lady, it’s an historic hotel 🤣 Another bonus is that it’s independently owned, which is a nice touch. Lisa M2025-08-21Verified Good Downtown Hotel This is a wonderful hotel in downtown Seattle. Very comfortable and within walking distance of many sites. I would highly recommend. PDX-to-CDG2024-10-28Verified Best value in Seattle! We loved our recent one-night stay here, our third time over many years. We were upgraded to a city-view room (room 1102) that had a lovely view. What we loved: * Super clean room with in-room coffee maker and mini-fridge. Comfy bed. * Location was amazing, just a few blocks from Pikes Place market and tons of shopping and restaurants nearby. * Great cocktails at Olivers, the hotel bar, with picture windows looking out onto the street. I could have sat there all day people-watching. * Valet was fast and friendly. Next time I would love to try the hotel restaurant, Andaluca. It looked really cozy. We booked our room under a special rate celebrating the hotel's 97th anniversary and it was a great deal! I had been shopping around for Seattle hotels and everything was sooooo expensive. I felt like we got a great value at the Mayflower Park! We would definitely return again.
