Join us on Friday, May 17th at 6:30pm for an extraordinary event as we pair a special dinner with Scarborough Wines. Special guest, Travis Scarborough, owner/winemaker, will take us on a journey as we explore the nuances and distinct flavors of wines created with grapes from Washington vineyards: Boushey, Dineen, Meek, Lewis, Wallula, Champoux and Klipsun…to name but a few!
Travis Scarborough has wine in his veins! He grew up in Napa Valley, where helping vineyards in all capacities kept him out of trouble. Finding his passion at an early age, he received his degree at Sonoma State and was one of the first to study wine marketing. He continued studies at UC Davis and shortly after began working as assistant winemaker at Viader Vineyards. Travels to Europe to see ‘old world wineries’ were yet another study in the fine art of winemaking. In 2002 Travis moved to Seattle and experimented with small batches of Syrah and Cabernet. In 2005 he started his winery. Slowly and steadily through hard work and a reputation for excellent blends, Scarborough Winery has become quite popular and Travis Scarborough will show us why!
Teaming up with Travis Scarborough, Chef Sarah Lorenzen has created a delightfully delicious four course pairing dinner that will impress. Please join us for this special event.
